Beer Festival in Saltaire
If you like your real ale, then this is the Meetup for you – The Bradford CAMRA beer festival, being held in Saltaire’s Victoria Hall, a grade 2 Victorian listed building, from 7pm to 11pm.
There will apparently be over 100 real ales along with ciders and foreign beers. The event also features hot and cold food along with live entertainment.
There is an admission price of £4. According to the festival events page, this also gets you a programme and commemorative glass.

****IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION****
The organisers have informed me that tickets should be purchased in advance. I have been told that whilst it is 'possible' to get tickets on the door at the time of the event, for health and safety reasons they have a VERY strict number of people allowed in at any one time. People buying tickets on the door will therefore ONLY be allowed in IF and WHEN those with pre bought tickets have been and left. We would therefore strongly suggest you purchase your tickets in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Suggested meeting place: The Boathouse Inn in Saltaire, 5.45-6.45pm, for pre festival drinks. We’ll then head up the road to the festival at 6.45pm sharp. The Boathouse Inn is right by the train station and a stones throw from the beer festival. For details of the Inn, see http://www.theboathouseinn.co.uk/
You can of course go straight to the festival if you wish.
At the time of writing, there is a train from Leeds at 5.26pm which gets us into Saltaire at 5.40pm. The last train back to Leeds is 10.40pm, arriving in Leeds at 11.01pm.

Hello people. I realised this meetup was on too late to organise myself to get a ticket. The website still says (updated at 23/2/2012 when i looked) that there are Sat evening postal tickets still available, but i highly doubt i'll get an SAE to them and returned by tomorrow! So .. is there any chance that there's anyone who's got a spare i can buy off them because someone has dropped out at the last minute? Just thought I'd ask ...
